HOW TO DISPLAY SMALL WALL ART

Small artworks have endless possibilities. Hang them solo for a statement, group together for a gallery wall or display them leaning on a shelf or console for a relaxed, collected feel.

General Hanging Guidelines

A good rule of thumb is to position the centre of your artwork around 150cm from the floor. For a gallery wall, use the centre of the entire arrangement as your guide.

Removable Hooks

If you'd rather not put holes in your walls, quality removable hooks are a great alternative. Simply follow the manufacturer's instructions, check the weight limits and make sure the surface is clean and dry before hanging.

They're ideal for displaying lightweight artwork on walls, cupboards or other smooth surfaces. We used them to hang a pair of framed prints on a kitchen cupboard, adding character to the space in less that ten minutes.

Not every artwork needs to be hung. Lean framed prints on a shelf, console or sideboard for a relaxed, layered look. Mix different sizes to create depth and interest.

Picture Rails

If your home has picture rails, picture hanging wires are an easy way to display artwork without adding extra holes to your walls. Just be sure to check the weight limits of the wires and that your frame fixngs are secure before hanging.

However you style it, artwork is one of the simplest ways to add colour, character and personality to your home.
