The Trudon Louis XVI bust is a striking decorative piece designed to look like a detailed, ornamental candle. Made from beautiful navy blue wax, Louis XVI makes a wonderful addition to a living room, bedroom or home office.
Absolute authority: chin up, proud bust and a contemptuous attitude, the Sun King rules. Immortalized in a 7-meter high monumental sculpture by François Girardon (1699), the ‘Louis XIV à cheval’ took centre stage Place Vendôme before the statue was raised to the ground, in 1792, during the French revolution. Today a resident of the Musée du Louvre, the bust still stands tall, reproduced in a smaller scale. An iconic royal figure and messenger of “l’art à la française”.
Please note that the wick in this bust is decorative only. This piece is not designed to burn like a candle.

Please note this is not a regular stock item in our stores, and is available as a special order. Special order items can be shipped to you directly, or collected from one of our village stores. Should you select in-store pickup, a member of our team will contact you as soon as your order is ready to collect. Item ships with in 7-10 business days.

We do everything we can to get your packages out the door as soon as possible. Our team works hard to ensure the majority of our orders are packed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Should anything delay your order leaving us, a member of our team will be in touch.
Shipping Calculation
FREE SHIPPING is available for most orders* over $200 going to select Metro areas. The cost of shipping is calculated based on the cubic weight of your item and their destination. As soon as your package has been collected from us you will receive tracking information that allows you to follow its progress. *Free shipping does not apply to sale items and bulky pieces including furniture and some rugs. Selected other items may not be eligible for free shipping. In this case it will be noted in the product description.
Courier Delivery
We use a number of courier networks to ensure your parcel gets to you as soon as possible. There can sometimes be delays on these networks due to couriers staff shortages. To ensure your parcel arrives on time we do recommend allowing plenty of time to account for possible delays, especially during busy periods such as Christmas and Mother's Day.
