Made from hand knotted wool and cotton in the 1930s, Iran.

Tabriz rugs are a type of Persian rug from the city of Tabriz in north west of Iran.
Tabriz is one of the oldest rug weaving centers with different types of carpets made here, including pile and flat-weave, with simple and complex composition. The carpet making art was passed on from generation to generation, and was considered the most valued heirloom.
